The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure requires the supply and installation of 12 cyclonic-rated roof inspection hatches at the Peter McAulay Centre in Darwin. This is to provide access for periodic inspections and maintenance of the roof structure due to water damage and rust.
Due to the amount of rust on the internal roof structure from water damage within roof cavity, periodic inspections and maintenance to the Peter McAulay Centre roof structure are required. There is currently no access to the roof cavity without the removal of roof sheeting and existing vapour barrier. To carry out inspections, monitoring of the rust and maintenance, installation of 12 x cyclonic rated roof hatches to roofs are required.
