Who operates Bindy
Bindy is a product of Makr, currently operated by Mickey as an individual. A Singapore company is planned but has not yet been incorporated. For account, privacy or service enquiries, contact mickey@makr.ac.
Information we handle
- Account information, including your name, email, sign-in details and workspace memberships.
- Business details you supply, such as services, service areas, contact details, website addresses, goals and operating preferences.
- Public business information collected for website audits and research, including source addresses, page content and business contact details.
- Content, files, instructions, approvals and review notes you add to your workspace.
- Where you enable a connected service: account identifiers, access credentials, selected files, enquiries, booking information and delivery results needed for that service.
- Technical and security records such as request information, IP addresses, browser details, errors and activity timestamps.
Please provide only information you are authorised to share. Do not upload payment card details, passwords for unrelated services, health records or other sensitive personal information into prompts or business notes.
How information is used
We use information to manage access, save business audits and plans, prepare and review work, operate services you enable, answer enquiries and investigate faults or misuse. Publicly available business details support research; their availability does not establish permission to send marketing.
An audit or account registration does not authorise us to publish on your social accounts or send marketing to your customers. Connected delivery requires the relevant account access and operating approvals.
AI and connected services
When you use an AI feature, relevant business context, instructions, selected content and files may be sent to the configured AI provider to produce an answer or draft. Drafts can be inaccurate and need review. We do not promise a particular provider retention period or training setting without verifying the applicable account and service terms.
Social connections are operated through Makr. A provider may show Makr during authorisation even when your workspace is branded Bindy. Connected platforms receive the information needed for actions you authorise and apply their own privacy policies.
See service providers for purposes and current availability. We do not sell personal information. Disclosure may also be necessary to meet legal obligations or respond to a valid legal request.
Where data is processed
Bindy’s current primary Supabase database is in Tokyo, Japan. The web application uses Vercel. Hosting, AI, email and other providers may process information internationally, including in the United States. Bindy does not offer an Australia-only data residency commitment.
Access controls protect private workspace records and files. No system is risk-free; see security for the controls and their practical limits.
Cookies and browser storage
Authentication cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage also remembers interface preferences, audit access and your cookie choice. These are needed for the features you use.
Optional product analytics is not configured in the current production release. If introduced, this notice and the available cookie controls will be updated before activation.
Access, correction and deletion
Contact mickey@makr.ac to request access, correction, an export or deletion, or to raise a privacy complaint. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the workspace before acting. We will explain the outcome and any information that must be retained.
Closing an account is not proof that every file, backup, payment record or connected provider record has been erased. We review deletion requests across the systems involved. Billing, dispute, security and legal records may need to be retained; backup copies follow their own retention arrangements.
You can use the unsubscribe option in marketing messages where provided or contact us to stop marketing. Account and service messages needed to operate a requested service are separate.
Changes
We will update this page when the operator, services or information handling changes. The date above identifies the current notice.
