The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) is seeking a technical coordinator/consultant for project management support on phosphine investments. This role involves technical review, quality assurance, and coordinating research projects and industry collaborations. The contract is anticipated to be for 2 years, requiring 1.5-2 days of work per week.
GRDC is seeking a suitably qualified technical coordinator/consultant to provide project management support to the portfolio of phosphine investments. Specifically, the coordinator/consultant will support technical review and quality assurance related to project reporting, coordinate interactions between GRDC-funded phosphine research projects as well as industry collaborators, and act as a key point of contact and information exchange in stakeholder interactions. This role will support current GRDC-investments to drive updated, practical and compliant phosphine fumigation protocols for the grains industry. The research work underway ranges from sorption/desorption dynamics to occupational health and safety studies along the supply chain. There is also a need to coordinate industry collaborations e.g. on data collection. It is anticipated that this role reflects 1.5-2 days per week (on average) over 2 years for a suitably experienced consultant.
